Airedoodle FAQ

Here are some answers to Frequently Asked Questions about Airedoodle Puppies

What is an Airedoodle?!

An Aire- what? These sweet puppies are a cross between an Airedale Terrier and a Poodle. Neither the Airedale Terrier or the Poodle shed!

Airedale Terriers and Poodles are both exceptionally smart breeds who are energetic, playful and love their people! If you're looking for a lazy, lay around the house companion this is NOT the puppy for you. But if you want a dog who would rather be playing with you than doing anything else, if you are looking for a dog who can be a bit of a handful, but will reward you with boundless love and enthusiasm, if you're searching for a companion who will have enough zeal for life for the both of you, this is YOUR puppy!

Because Airedale Terriers and Poodles are independent thinkers, we highly recommend that you speak with a trainer who can help guide you and your puppy into a wonderful lifelong friendship.

Puppy raising is a family affair here! Human Mama Erica stays home and spends her days taking care of her children, both the two legged and four legged ones! We love snuggling our puppies and finding them the perfect family to spend their life with!

If you think you'd like to make one of these sweet Airedoodles part of your family, please contact us! You can reach us through the contact page, or you're welcome to call/text us any time of the day or night at 970-400-1415 (we will probably only respond during daylight hours, unless of course we are up with a cranky baby :-)).

How does this process work?

You've done your home work, you've read articles, watched videos, looked at pictures and you think one of these little Airedoodles would be just perfect for your family - what's the next step, and the step after that?

First, reach out to me! I'm so thrilled that you're considering me to be your Airedoodle Breeder! Either send me an email or shoot me a text and let me know that you think you'd like one of our puppies. I'll have a few questions for you to help make sure one of our puppies is a good fit for you. I'll be asking things like, do you have a yard, if not what is your plan for exercise. Have you had a high energy dog before? How did training go? What is your plan for training this time? Do you have kids? Airedoodles go through a really extended puppy biting stage, and I want to make sure you know that and that we talk about ways to manage that with kids. Toddlers do not like it when the puppy decides to "play" with their arm! This is also a great time for you to ask me any questions you may have!

After we've gotten to know each other, and we both feel comfortable then we can talk about which puppy you want to reserve! I ask for a deposit to reserve your puppy, the balance for the puppy will be paid when you take the puppy home.

Once your deposit has been placed then I'll mark the puppy you've chosen as "reserved" on the website, and the countdown to the day your puppy comes home begins! I'll continue to be updating you with new pictures of your puppy and information on bringing your puppy home. I'll be sending you a list of my favorite puppy products, and advice on how to set up your home and get ready for your new family member!
